Start Options provides ways to trigger a synchronization.
A synchronization may be started when a document is opened, when Synchronize! is opened, when disks become available, when you quit Synchronize! or shut down your Mac, or at a preset time.
One use of Start Options is to configure one or more Synchronize! settings documents to run at Shut Down, so that your files are synchronized after you've made any changes. This ensures that any changes you made are transferred to your other Mac, and that a backup is made at the same time.
When you synchronize with one or more floppy disks, check the "Start synchronization when disks become available" box. When you want to synchronize your files, open Synchronize! and insert your floppy disks, in any order.
The files on each disk will be synchronized automatically. Use "Eject disk when complete" in the Completion Options to automatically eject the disk when the synchronization is complete.
